EPHEMERA

Three-dimensional relief sculptures built from leftovers trimmed from other paper paintings and collages. In this way ephemera, ‘something of no lasting significance’ and meant to be discarded, is rescued, recombined and archived in a shadow box frame. A metaphorical effort, to slow the passage of time, to hold on to fleeting moments.
