FOUNDLINGS

Borrowing from the languages of poetry and science, these hybrid creatures exist somewhere on the threshold between the plant and animal worlds. They transform recycled newsprint, hatching new life from old news, and marry this with found materials, both natural and human made, abandoned in flea markets or foraged from woodlands. Alone, each Foundling celebrates its strange form and plucky persistence; in clusters they converse and create an uncanny garden, abundant and hopeful.
